The WMO Ashiyaana Housing Project in Gadhada Completed

by on 15 March 2021

The WMO Ashiyaana housing Project in Gadhada was completed on the 14th of March 2021. It is another WMO legacy project that has achieved fruition in India. 30 families became proud home owners as they received the keys to their respective apartments in an elaborate handover ceremony attended by the top brass of WMO North India Chapter.
The word ‘Ashiyaana’ means a nest in the urdu language. A fitting name to a most enduring legacy – a roof over the heads of the underprivileged families of the Memon Community – a nest for all to come home to.
WMO firmly believes that a simple, decent shelter is a basic human right.
For over a decade the World Memon Organisation has carried out rehabilitation projects, primarily housing which constitutes the corner stone in the well-being of a community.
Mr. Ehsan Gadawala (VP WMO North India Chapter) and his team are leading the way as several housing projects have been completed under his leadership in various cities, towns and remote villages in the farthest corners of India.
A note of gratitude to our donors. Your contributions go a long way in bringing a smile on the faces of the families, their children who stay warm and safe in the confines of their homes, you have so generously provided.
