WMO President conferred with Sitara-e-Imtiaz

Salman Iqbal stood tall, he stood patiently as they spoke at length about his stellar achievements. Then he marched forward, received the Sitara-i-Imtiaz from the honourable President of Pakistan, placed his hand on his heart and gallantly wore the medal of honour around his neck.

His family and close friends shared the memorable moment at the Presidential Palace, better known as the Aiwan e Sadr in Islamabad.

While the rest of us watched the award ceremony from the comfort of our homes, we were on our feet and delivered a standing ovation to our brother, our leader, the President of the World Memon Organisation as he received one of the highest civilian honours of the nation.

His achievements make his country proud. His accomplishments motivate his community. His actions inspire us to dream more, learn more, do more and become more.

Salman Iqbal remains the perfect epitome of inspirational leadership, an outstanding role model for the Memon community and a true patriot of the great nation of Pakistan.
