WMO North India Chapter delivers humanitarian aid in Syria

The situation on the ground is heart breaking with no water, food or electricity. Families are living in abject poverty, in subhuman conditions, in tiny spaces crammed with children suffering from malnutrition, making them vulnerable to infection and disease. The camps of temporary, makeshift homes stretch for miles, unraveling it’s own tale of pain and human misery.

Syria’s descent into horror has been well documented but to witness it firsthand is a terrifying prospect.
