WMO Africa Youth Wing Jalsa distribution to Al Hudaar
اَلسَلامُ عَلَيْكُم وَرَحْمَةُ اَللهِ وَبَرَكاتُهُ
On Sunday morning, 26 November 2023 the WMO Youth Wing Africa Chapter organised a hamper distribution to supply young orphan children in the Madrassah with their daily Islamic wear along with some treats. The project was lead by Yasmin Gani who has collaborated with the orphanage on behalf of WMO for a few years.
Yasmin worked along with four other volunteers Nabeela and Salma Gani and Azhar and Zaahir Rauf to distribute thirty five hampers to the children of Al-Huda Madressa in Orange Farm to celebrate their upcoming Jalsa on 2nd December 2023.
The children were on cloud nine upon receiving their gifts and could not wait to open their gifts and share their treats with their friends.
The event brought great joy to the volunteers as well who were grateful for the opportunity to organise these distributions and bring immense happiness to these little children who come from underprivileged backgrounds.
In the little time that the volunteers were present at the madressa, the children made them realise that the smallest gestures can make the biggest difference.
A Hadith by Prophet Muhammad (SAW) states that “The believer’s shade on the Day of Resurrection will be their charity”.
We would like to thank our donors for once again putting a smile on these children’s faces and we look forward to assisting Al Hudaar Madressah as well as many other deserving organisations in the future.
