IMPORTANT UPDATE

The USA/Canada Chapter of the World Memon Organisation Charitable Foundation (“WMO”) established in 2002 in the UK, held a meeting on September 8, 2024 under its new charitable company in the US known as WMO US Inc..

The Office Bearers Council of the WMO were also present.

This chapter has experienced significant growth with the addition of 10 Trustees, 3 Patrons, and 34 Life Members, since officially registering the new company only few months ago.

This rapid expansion is ongoing with new members joining weekly and underscores the organization’s potential in the Chapter of US/Canada.

During the meeting, attendees were briefed on the history and vision of the WMO.

Furthermore, during this meeting all members discussed and unanimously selected Nominees for the formation of the Regional Management Committee (RMC) by nominating 5 Life members to the RMC, including the interim Office Bearers; The Regional President, The Regional Secretary & The Regional Treasurer as well as The Regional Ladies Wing Chair, and Regional Youth Wing Chair.

These Nominees will be formally presented for ratification at the forthcoming Management Committee meeting of the WMO scheduled in London on October 4th 2024 and subsequently by the General Assembly at the Annual General Meeting on October 5th 2024.
