Five hundred and Sixty Eight Homes Delivered

568 homes delivered to rehabilitate flood victims

Pakistan was ravaged by devastating floods in the year 2022, leading to a humanitarian crisis of epic proportions.
World Memon Organisation stood firm with the people of Pakistan in their hour of need as the WMO Pakistan Chapter team was on the frontlines of the crisis.

There was a greater need for housing and rehabilitation as most of the homes were swallowed or swept away by the floods. Hence the building of pucca houses that would stand the test of time commenced in earnest. The objective was that the flood victims in the worst affected provinces of Balochistan and Sindh would have a permanent roof over their heads.

On September 23, 2023, a WMO team visited the sites to assess the progress of the completed houses and we are glad to report that 568 houses stand completed.

The team included H. M. Shahzad, the former Regional President of WMO Pakistan Chapter, Imran Farooq, General Manager of WMO CF, Anas Mowshook, Chief Financial Officer of WMO CF and Arsalan Nara, the Regional Secretary.

We remain indebted to our donors, especially Natal Memon Jamaat and all the WMO Chapters for their timely contributions that help us serve humanity at their most vulnerable time.
