WMOMC: Iftar Meal Box

The blessed month of Ramadan is a month of faith, fasting, generosity and mercy. In keeping with the bountiful spirit of giving in Ramadan, the World Memon Organisation Middle East Chapter has hosted several Iftar camps across Dubai and Ajman over the past five years.

Since the Ramadan of 2015, the Middle East Chapter has served Iftar meals for the entire duration of the holy month. Rozgars are provided meals for 30 days as they gather together, under one roof to break their fast. These brothers are mostly poor migrant workers who have travelled to the Middle East in hope of a better life for themselves and their families back home.

Iftar camps will not be organized this year as well, but the humanitarian Ramadan tradition shall continue unabated in the form of Iftar Meal Boxes. These meal boxes will be duly delivered at construction sites and labour camps so that no brother goes hungry after a long day’s toil under the hot sun.
