WMO NIC Welcomes delegation from the WMO Far East Chapter

Day 1 – Saturday, February 10, 2024: It was an exceptional day for the WMO North India Chapter as they welcomed a delegation from the WMO Far East Chapter, specifically from Sri Lanka. The purpose of their visit was to show their support for the community and offer assistance.

The esteemed delegation from the WMO Far East Chapter included Mr. Amin Bhaila, Regional President, Mr. Razzak Osman, Treasurer Regional, and Mr. Yaseen Bhaila, accompanied by Mr. Ehsan Gadawala, Trustee of the WMO North India Chapter, and Mr. Shabbir Patca, Regional Treasurer of the WMO North India Chapter.

The delegation began their visit by going to Ummeed School in Mumbra, where they distributed snacks and spent the afternoon with the special children. The delegation was deeply moved by the love and care shown by these remarkable children.

Later in the evening, the delegation visited the WMO Office, where they spent a couple of hours familiarizing themselves with the organization’s operations. They were amazed by the efficient workflow and the meticulous attention to detail in the paperwork handled by the WMO North India Chapter Office Staff.

Overall, this day marked a significant milestone for the WMO North India Chapter, as they received support and recognition from the WMO Far East Chapter. The visit not only strengthened the bond between the two chapters but also served as a source of inspiration for the entire community.
