WMO Global Youth Wing – Africa Chapter in collaboration with the Memon Association of Cape Town hosted its annual Family Picnic
Memon Association of Cape Town in collaboration with the WMO Global Youth Wing – Africa Chapter hosted its annual Family Picnic 2025 on Sunday; 13th April at the breathtaking Green Point Park.
It was a well-attended, especially by our youth, a vibrant event filled with laughter, good food and meaningful interactions.

- The setting at Green Point Park created a relaxed space for families to connect.
- The event encouraged intergenerational conversations and community bonding.
- Many young attendees expressed interest in joining the WMO Global Youth Wing and it gave us the opportunity to engage with potential new members and share what we do.
- We were fortunate to welcome visitors from Zimbabwe, Botswana, Malawi, Pietermaritzburg, Pretoria and Durban.
