The villages in the hinterlands of Pakistan remain cut off from the mainland as the monsoon fury has swept away bridges and roads lay submerged.

The WMO Pakistan Chapter team have traded their trucks for boats to chart a course to these abandoned villages where the need is far greater.

Surrounded by water on all sides, the innocent flood victims stand hapless on a narrow strip of land in anticipation of a single morsel of food.

May Allah SWT ease their sufferings. May He grant the people of Pakistan strength and fortitude.

It breaks our hearts to witness humans in their most fragile state. But then we thank our donors for their timely contributions that help us Serve Humanity at their most vulnerable time.
