The top brass of WMO Pakistan Chapter gathered at the Fatima Bai Hall in Karachi to launch the Food Bank project in Pakistan

The objective of the WMO Food Bank project is to eliminate hunger. It is the brainchild of Mr. Salman Iqbal – President of the World Memon Organisation and the Project Leader is Mr. Mahmood Shaikhani – Deputy President WMO.

Both dignitaries were present at the inaugural ceremony of the noteworthy food project in the bustling city of Karachi. Mr. HM Shahzad, Regional Vice President of WMO Pakistan Chapter played the gracious host.

The WMO Food Bank program has been flourishing in multiple cities, across several countries around the globe. The project has successfully eradicated hunger in many corners of the World but the dream remains to End World Hunger. And with this great nation added to the list, WMO has taken another important step towards turning this dream into a reality.
