The Sind Institute of Urology and Transplantation or SIUT is a shining beacon of hope for the underprivileged and ailing of Pakistan

The renowned Karachi institution provides free health care to millions and was the site of the food distribution drive under the WMO Food Bank project.

Eleven hundred meals were delivered to the many families that gather at SIUT seeking treatment for their loved ones. Belonging to the marginalised section of society, these families come from far and wide in search of a cure. Tired, hungry, perturbed and anxious for the well-being of their suffering family members, they seldom have the means for lodging or even enough money to buy a meal.

Often camping on the streets outside SIUT, the grateful crowd whisked away the food packs in no time. Jinnah hospital is the next stop for WMO Pakistan Chapter under the WMO Food Bank project where we hope to repeat the same feat.

We express our gratitude to our donors especially Mr. Imran Farooq of the Samana Conglomerate for their generosity towards the noble cause.
