Bismillah-ir-Rahman-ir-Raheem

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

As we enter the blessed month of Ramadan, we are reminded of our duty to help those in need, uplift our communities, and strengthen the bonds of unity and compassion. This sacred time calls upon us to reflect, give, and stand in solidarity with our fellow Memons and the wider Ummah, ensuring that no one is left behind.

For generations, the Memon community has been known for its entrepreneurial spirit, resilience, and generosity. Yet, today, thousands of vulnerable Memon families across Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, Africa, and beyond are struggling to meet their basic needs. Many face economic hardship, displacement, food insecurity, and lack of access to education and healthcare.

This Ramadan, the World Memon Organisation (WMO) is intensifying its efforts to support our own community, ensuring that Memon families and individuals in need receive access to education, sustainable livelihood opportunities, and essential aid to rebuild their lives.

Through our Education and Family Upliftment Program, we are sponsoring students, supporting schools, and ensuring that Memon children and youth receive quality education—a vital tool for breaking the cycle of poverty. Our Rozgar Project is equipping families with skills, vocational training, and financial assistance to help them start small businesses and achieve financial independence.

Alongside these initiatives, we continue to provide food parcels, medical aid, clean water, and long-term economic support to uplift our brothers and sisters facing hardship.

Last year, thanks to your generosity, WMO was able to make a significant impact in these regions. This year, we call upon you once again. your Zakat, Sadaqah, Fidyah, and Fitrana will provide not just immediate relief but also a path to dignity and prosperity.

Let us come together this Ramadan, fulfill our faith’s obligations, and uplift our Memon brothers and sisters in their time of need. May Allah (SWT) accept our efforts and reward us abundantly for our generosity and kindness.

Jazakallahu Khairan,

Salman Iqbal
President, World Memon Organisation (WMO)
