𝙋𝙖𝙠𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙣 𝙁𝙡𝙤𝙤𝙙 𝙍𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙚𝙛

Since the onset of Monsoons in Pakistan, torrential rains have lashed the southern provinces of Balochistan and Sindh, including the financial capital and port city of Karachi, heaping widespread damage across the region.

Floods ravaged both states with fields and streets lying submerged. The unrelenting monsoons have left in its wake, total devastation. The incessant rains affecting millions, displacing hundreds of thousands from the comfort of their homes with the death toll rising with every passing week.

Balochistan bore the brunt of the fury. With crops, livestocks, homes destroyed and infrastructure damaged, including submerged roads and broken bridges. The rains have left a trail of human misery with people stranded without food, shelter and livelihood.

The World Memon Organisation Pakistan Chapter has stepped up to the plate to remedy the situation and are underlining a flood relief program for the innocent victims of this unforeseen calamity. The organisations is left with the daunting task of rehabilitating hundreds of families who have lost everything in this terrible tragedy.
