Mr. Mahmood Shaikhani, Deputy President of the World Memon Organisation is the Project Leader of the WMO Food Bank program.

Speaking at the launch of the project in Pakistan, after initiating the notable food program in India, South Africa, Europe and Sri Lanka, Mr. Mahmood Shaikhani stressed that the noteworthy food project doesn’t discriminate. Meals will be served to all in Pakistan, irrespective of religion, community, caste, colour, race and creed. The only eligibility criteria is hunger.

The WMO Food Bank project is in accordance with the founding President, the late Haji Saab’s dream to unite all Memons on a single platform to uplift not just the community but to Serve All Mankind under the WMO banner.
