Zakath Masterclass

On the 19th of May, WMO South India Chapter launched the E – Booklet – “Zakat Simplified” by prominent Muslim scholar, CA Abdul Rahim at the Master Class Zakat event organized by their Youth Wing in Frazer Town. The venue – Savoury Hotel was packed to the rafters with more than 125 guests who graced the occasion. Even the ladies turned up in full force to partake in the event.

“Zakat Simplified” is a treasure trove of information on one of the most important pillars of Islam. It was shared with the gathering to enhance their knowledge of Zakat, its purpose, how it purifies wealth and benefits not only the recipient but more importantly the donor. A panel discussion aptly titled “Talk, Think, Realize” consisting of distinguished speakers and eminent members of the community put the spotlight firmly on the obligations of Zakat. The session was followed with a scrumptious Iftar.
