WMOPC Empowering Through Inclusion
A brainstorming session on the topic of “New Born Screening” under the leadership of Dr. Mohammed Iqbal.
After 2 hours of interactive discussion the group agreed on the following action plan.
- Workshop for Midwives to raise awareness regarding developmental milestones.
- Project will start from Baldia Town and Orangi Town.
- Allama Bilal will gather midwives and other healthcare workers from Orangi and Baldia.
- The focus will be on the early diagnosis and rehabilitation of special need children.
- All participants will be awarded a certificate from Association of Pakistani Physicians and Surgeons of UK Foundation (Registration: 1163957) www.appsukfoundation.org.uk
- This will be an ongoing program.
- Dr. Sana will guide participants on regular basis.
