WMOEC: Afghani and Refugee Crisis Appeal in the UK

Following on from the recent migration of Afghans arriving into the UK, the WMO Europe Chapter has been actively working alongside local community and government groups to ensure the people entering the
UK receive the vital support they need to rebuild their lives.

On 8th October 2021, representatives working under the WMO attended a local hotel where a number of families – 400 people in total were residing temporarily, waiting to be placed into more permanent
housing.

The WMO were there to assist – The aim – to further fid out the current needs of these people and how we could play a role in helping them through this transition process.
