WMO2 – GYW’s Tree Planting Project is making waves in South Africa

by on 10 October 2023

The African Youth Wing has successfully planted in all the primary schools in George and has now moved on to creating an impact in high schools. Students are involved in planting the trees and looking after them as part of their Agricultural Sciences curriculum.

To date, the African Youth Wing has planted 559 trees in 17 different sites around the country and continue to plant on a regular basis.
The WMO’s Youth Wing has also been featured in the local newspaper George Herald for the work they have done and the contributions they have made to the environment and those less fortunate in the city.

May Allah bless the donors and supporters that made this project possible and may the trees bear fruit that is beneficial to those it’s meant to benefit for years to come. Ameen
