WMO North India Chapter proudly hosted the spectacular Memon Eid Mela on 2nd May 2026 at Islam Gymkhana, Mumbai – a vibrant celebration by the Memons and for the Memons!

This unforgettable event was held under the dynamic leadership of Dr. Haseen Aghadi, Regional President WMO North India Chapter, Mr. Ehsan Gadawala, WMO Trustee, Mr. Sharif Memon, Regional Secretary, Mr. Shabbir Patca, Regional Treasurer, Mrs. Raziabai Chasmawala, Deputy Chairperson WMO Global Ladies Wing, Mr. Shakil Batliwala, Chairman Sports Committee, and Ms. Nazia Mistry, Chairman Maa Hoorbai Foundation. The successful execution of the Mela was made possible thanks to well wishers and through the dedicated efforts of Adv. Huriya Patel, WMO Life Member and Mr. Salim Bandhukia, Office Secretary – WMO North India Chapter.

With over 250 stalls, a visiting crowd of more than 5000, and 110 stalls completely sold out, the event was a grand success, reflecting unity, culture, and entrepreneurial spirit. What made this carnival even more special was that all stalls were managed and booked by Memon girls and ladies, many of whom embarked on their journey as businesswomen for the very first time. InshaAllah, this memorable gathering marks the beginning of a new wave of empowered Memon women entrepreneurs.
