The WMO North India Chapter and Ya Ma Patel’s Foundation distribute thousands of free ration kits to deserving and needy families and individuals in this holy month of Ramadan. Every year, thousands of ration kits are distributed to underprivileged families of society, ensuring that no one sleeps hungry during this blessed month.

This noble initiative is made possible through the dedicated efforts of WMO’s Mumbai City Chairman, Haji Mudassar Patel, and under the guidance of Dr. Haseen Aghadi, Regional President, WMO North India Chapter (NIC). Their commitment and hands-on involvement reflect the true spirit of service and compassion.

The primary objective of this drive is to ensure that families facing financial hardship have access to essential food supplies such as grains, pulses, oil, sugar, and other daily necessities. By easing their burden, WMO helps them observe fasting during the month of Ramadan with peace, dignity, and gratitude rather than stress and uncertainty.

Ramadan is not only a month of fasting but also a month of empathy, generosity, and sharing. As mentioned in the Holy Qur’an, Surah Al-Baqarah (2:261).
