At the 23rd Annual General Meeting, the WMO Middle East Chapter, under the leadership of Regional President Mr. Kamran Ghani, shared the positive results of its community work.
Here’s a snapshot of the key discussions:
Helping Families in Need
The chapter’s support for education, welfare, and housing is substantial and far-reaching. Middle East Chapters welfare programs provide holistic support to families, covering essential needs from living expenses to education and healthcare, truly embodying an “Empower a Family” model.
Building Mosques: The “Vision 500 Mosques” Project
This flagship project is progressing steadily! Several mosques are in development in interior Sindh, bringing closer to Middle East Chapters long-term spiritual goal with each new foundation laid.
Membership Growth: Patrons & Life Members
Middle East Chapters member base is strong and expanding! People are joining because they see the value of the work, including access to global projects like the WMO Health Card. The chapter is using its network and a new website to welcome even more people.
Empowering Our Women: The Ladies Wing Vision
The Ladies Wing is focused on helping women become skilled, confident, and self-sufficient. They do this through:
➡ Community Support: Workshops and wellness seminars.
➡ Financial Help: Job training and business advice to help women start their own businesses.
Our Dynamic Youth: The Engine of Engagement
The Youth Wing has been exceptionally active! From community service and volunteer drives to thrilling sports tournaments and professional networking events, their energy is key to integrating the next generation and building a vibrant community future.
The Middle East Chapter is a key part of the WMO, successfully managing both big goals and immediate help for people in need. We are proud of this work and excited for what’s next
