WMO India Chapter Shines at the 23rd AGM!

We are proud to share the impactful participation of our India Chapter leadership at the recent 23rd AGM. Regional Presidents Haseen Aghadi (North) and Adil Azeez (South), along with their dedicated team, presented crucial updates on our flagship initiatives, highlighting significant growth and future plans for the community.

Here’s a quick snapshot of the key discussions:

Question: How is the chapter allocating funds for education and supporting students?

Response: We are currently supporting over 8,000 students in the 2024 academic year. Due to our expanding reach, this number is projected to grow to over 9,100 students in 2025! Our approach is comprehensive, focusing on both foundational and higher education to build a brighter future.

Question: What are the chapter’s key health initiatives?

Response: Palghar Hospital is a landmark project for the current leadership and is in its final stages of completion.

The updates from Messrs. Aghadi and Azeez underscore the chapter’s commitment to not just maintaining, but significantly expanding our vital work in education and health. We are building a robust, forward-looking strategy to better serve our community in India.
