WMO Founding Trustee and Chairman of Arif Habib Group, Mr. Arif Habib, graciously hosted a luncheon and meeting to explore the potential collaboration between Entrepreneurs and Professionals for the Advancement of Education in Pakistan. The event took place at the prestigious Naya Nazimabad, a vibrant new city nestled in the cosmopolitan heart of Karachi.

The highlight of the event was the esteemed presence of Mr. Shoaib Kothawala, founding trustee from the USA, who graciously accepted our invitation as the guest of honor. Adding to the grandeur, his brother, Mr. Amir Kothawala, also honored us with his presence.

Representatives from the WMO Pakistan Chapter and the Memon Professional Forum (MPF) were also present at the Meeting. The aim was to foster a dialogue on how to bridge the gap between Memon Educational Projects and the Meritorious Professionals of Memon Community and Successful Entrepreneurs.

Delegation of Memon Professional Forum was led by Mr.Irfan Amanullah – President, Mr. Ashraf Bawany, Mr. Mushtaq Madraswala and Mr. Shoaib Ibrahim. Mr.Shoaib Ismail Mangroria – Secretary, WMO Board of Trustees, Mr.Arsalan Arif Nara – Regional Secretary, WMO Pakistan Chapter, Mr.Altaf Habib Jangda – Advisor to Regional President, and Mr.Jawad Arif Choksi – Regional Management Committee Member represented WMO Pakistan Chapter.

Mr. Shoaib Kothawala emphasized the immense significance of education in today’s world and the transformative power it holds to reshape societal norms and customs. During a briefing on the various educational projects being undertaken by WMO, he was both appalled and deeply interested, exhibiting unwavering support for these programs. Mr. Kothawala passionately shared his dream and vision to follow in the footsteps of his illustrious great-grandfather, the late Sir Adamjee, a figure who requires no introduction.

Mr. Shoaib Kothawala is always ready to provide his unwavering support, utilizing his valuable time and resources, to ensure the successful completion of ongoing and upcoming projects.

Mr. Arif Habib has always been a passionate advocate for education in our society, firmly believing in the transformative power of education and intellectuality in shaping the minds of our youth. During the meeting, he eloquently addressed the need to bridge the gap between professionals and entrepreneurs to advance education.

A series of educational and profesional events will be laid down with the joint collaboration of WMO and Memon Educational Board (MEB). He also announced the plan of providing Scholarships to more and more memon students from the top notch universities of Pakistan after a meeting with Mr.Hussain Dawood.

With this visionary plan, Mr. Habib envisions a flourishing community, enriched with intellectually-driven students who will undoubtedly become exceptional professionals in the future. The meeting was a resounding success, with positive feedback, innovative ideas, and inspiring notions circulating among the attendees.
