WMO Africa Youth Wing Eid distribution at Al-Hudaar Madressa

During one of the most blessed months of the year, the WMO Youth Wing Africa Chapter distributed hampers with Eid clothes and treats for the young orphans at Al-Hudaar Madressa in Lenasia.

On Sunday, 20 Ramadaan 1445, a project lead by Yasmin Gani who has been hard at work trying to assist this madressa on behalf of the WMO for the past few years.

Yasmin, together with Nabeela Gani, Shaaista Gani Cassim and two adorable little volunteers Imaan and Mohamed Zaydaan Cassim handed out twenty five hampers to the children of Al-Hudaar Madressa to give them the Eid-ul-Fitr that they deserve.

The children could not contain their excitement when receiving their gifts and enjoyed spending the morning with the volunteers, reciting naats and playing with the little volunteers.

It brought the volunteers great pleasure to be able to put a smile on these lovely children’s faces. Yasmin has been personally handling the yearly Ramadaan distribution at Al-Hudaar and was overjoyed to see howmuch these children have grown, it was amazing to hear that when Yasmin began visiting this Madressa one of the girls who was 12 years old is now Alhamdulillah one of the Appa’s (teachers) at the Madressa.

In the few hours which the volunteers spent interacting with these children it was captivating to see that it is not howmuch we give but howmuch love we put into giving.
