To date WMO African Youth Wing has planted almost 400 trees

The WMO African Youth Wing successfully completed its 12th tree planting event at Thembalethu Primary School in George, South Africa on June 22, 2023.

The school, which serves 1,862 underprivileged students, received valuable lessons on the importance of trees and how to care for them. Local unemployed youth were involved in the planting, fostering a sense of community and shared responsibility.

To date the the WMO African Youth Wing has planted almost 400 trees, steadily contributing to WMOs overall goal for the WMO2 project.
