The World Memon Organization Africa Chapter in collaboration with the Islamic Medical Association of South Africa – Ruya Project honoured the elders of the Garden Assisted Living Home in Laudium on Sunday, 10th October 2021 at the World Memon Foundation Centre.

The focus was on vision, blindness, vision impairment and health. In addition to this, healthcare workers conducted basic medical check ups such as weight, height, BMI, blood pressure, glucose testing, dental hygiene and screening. Our special guests enjoyed a short session of chair exercises and refreshments were served throughout the programme.

Once completed with their screenings, we pampered them with hand massages and a delicious warm meal in the comfort of their home.

We would like to thank all the sponsors who played a supporting role by donating gifts to each of the residents of the home.
