The WMO US & Canada Chapter has triumphantly concluded the first leg of its landmark roadshow, achieving record-breaking success that has set a new benchmark for the community.
The initiative surpassed its targeted membership goals in just three of the six initial events, propelling the US & Canada Chapter to become the organization’s largest chapter for Individual Life Members. This remarkable achievement underscores the vibrant engagement and commitment of the Memon community in North America.
The success was driven by the visionary leadership of WMO President, Mr. Salman Iqbal, whose compelling keynote speeches at each event. He also highlighted the transformative power of education, with a particular focus on empowering women.
The event was graced by the presence of Bushra Amiwala, a trailblazing Memon leader and the first Gen Z woman to become an elected official in the United States, whose attendance inspired all.
WMO extends its deepest gratitude to the Regional President for WMO US & Canada, Mr. Anees Bakali, Trustees Mr. Faizan Bakali & Mr. Shiraz Suleman, Trusree & our General Manager Mr. Aneel Ameen, and the entire organizing team. Special thanks are also due to the collaborating Jamats: the Memon Association of North Texas, the Houston Memon Organisation & Chicago Memon Association.
Buoyed by this incredible momentum, the roadshow now moves to Toronto, New York, and New Jersey from October 10th to 12th, poised to build on this spectacular success, Insha’Allah.
