The next stop for the WMO Flood Relief campaign was another village in Balochistan which bore the brunt of the floods.

The list of essential food items that are being distributed to every family affected by the floods include Rice, Flour, Tea, Oil, Salt, Dates, Dal, Sugar, Biscuits and Chickpeas.

Women are wrapping themselves in goat’s skin as they have no clothes or shelter to conceal themselves. Children are at war with each other over a pack of biscuits. The parents tell tragic tales of losing their elders and children as they stood helpless, while the floods swept them away. They speak of dead bodies floating for miles in the rivers.

Pakistan needs you. And their call must be answered.
