The foundation stone laying ceremony of the upcoming Ashiyaana housing project in Jasdan, Gujarat
On the 8th of August, the top brass of WMO North India Chapter arrived in Jasdan to initiate the construction of the building which would soon be home to twenty marginalised families.
The word ‘Ashiyaana’ translates to a nest in the Urdu language. A most appropriate name for a housing project – a roof over the heads of the underprivileged members of the community – a nest for all to come home to.
