“I want to be Solly Noor!”
It was the answer of a 6th grader in Louis Trichardt when the teacher asked, “What would you like to become when you grow up?”
The words bear testament to the meteoric rise of Louis Trichardt’s favourite son, Suliman Noor Mahomed.
A Child of Destiny, Business Magnate, Property Tycoon, Visionary, Philanthropist and Humanitarian.
The man who built an empire from nothing, developed Louis Trichardt into a world class city, made friends in high places but never forgot his roots, answered the call of the needy and underprivileged in his country and community, constructed tall minarets in mosques which propelled towards the sky but bowed down humbly on its floor, a family man who chokes up with emotions when he merely mentions his wife and children, swells up with pride when he talks about his motherland.
The man with the Midas touch and a heart of gold. Our honourable WMO President, the distinguished Mr. Solly Noor.

the most striking feature of solly noor is his humility…whatever is his custodial destiny was determined
by the almighty…in life there are only two types of people ..those who do and propergate good and the second lot those who do and propergate evil.
belief.social diversity ,race, religion and culture are not areas to judge good or evil….
from the little i know of this man i can only as a humab being opiniate that he is a person that largely gravitates
towards doing the good thst God has placed us on this earth to do….was salaam
