The 2nd RMC meeting of WMO EC
The 2nd Regional Management Committee meeting was held on December 8, 2023 via the WMO Meeting app. Following was the Agenda of the meeting. The RMC meeting was attended by Deputy President and Secretary General of WMO, Office Beareres of WMO Europe Chapter, Regional Youth Vice Chairman (Europe Chapter), Ladies Wing and RMC members.

Members participated actively in the meeting. Shahzad Iqbal, Regional President, WMO Europe Chapter, presented the vision of EC for the year 2024 along with Farhan Farooq, Regional Secretary, WMO Europe Chapter. While, Nisar Bawany, Regional Treasurer, WMO Europe Chapter, delivered the financial standings of Europe Chapter.
Nasir Iqbal, Vice Chairman, Global Youth Wing, along with Ahmed Patel, presented the current activities and upcoming project of WMO GYW to the audience.
Shamim Osman from the Ladies Wing presented on behaf of the Global Ladies Wing.
Mahmood Shaikhani and Bashir Sattar spoke about Memon upliftment project and the Gaza Emergency Appeal carried out by the Central Board.
It was interactive and a fruitful meeting. Mohammad Iqbal from Portugal assured and invited Europe Chapter Office Bearers to visit Portugal.
It was also decided that regular Working Committee meetings will be held to discuss all the proposals prior to the RMC meeting.
