Mr. Altaf Muhammad, Regional Treasurer of WMO Middle East Chapter makes a fervent plea to donate towards the pertinent cause

This year, winter has been brutally cold and exceptionally harsh in the western regions of Pakistan. The mercury has plummeted with regions experiencing the lowest temperatures in decades. The death toll has risen at an alarming rate.

WMO Middle-East Chapter has initiated the distribution of woolens and blankets in several parts of Pakistan since the onset of winter. But due to the prevailing freezing conditions, the need is far greater.

Mr. Altaf Muhammad, Regional Treasurer of WMO Middle East Chapter makes a fervent plea to donate towards the pertinent cause. At a cost of just PKR 1000, an entire family can be provided blankets and woolens in Pakistan. WMO intends to provide for 5000 underprivileged families.
