It was indeed a night to remember

Visiting President of the World Memon Organisation – Mr. Salman Iqbal, Chairman of WMO Board of Trustees – Mr. Ashraf Sattar and the esteemed WMO stalwart OBE Haroon Karim were the toast of the town at a grand dinner reception hosted by WMO North India Chapter in Mumbai.

The venue was the iconic Islam Gymkhana, nestled on the shores of the Arabian Sea. The atmosphere was electric as Memons from across the country gathered in numbers to welcome the WMO dignitaries.

It marked a special homecoming for Salman Iqbal who was visiting India after a decade, as he reminisced about his family’s deep-rooted connections to the country. The WMO President made a clarion call for unity and urged the global Memon community to come together for the greater good of humanity. As the night unfolded, his towering personality, charisma, and eloquence left a lasting impression on one and all.

Mr. Salman Iqbal has once again found pride of place on the prestigious “The World’s 500 most Influential Muslims” for the year 2024. And this event truly underlined his remarkable influence, as he held sway over the mesmerized Memons of maximum city.
