Important WMO AGM Update Message

Dear WMO Members

Assalaamu Alaykum

In the light of the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Pakistan, it’s been decided by the Office Bearers that it’s important to focus some of our energies and resources to helping victims of the devastating floods who are suffering immensely.

May Allah swt have mercy on the citizens of Pakistan and us all – Aameen.

The board has decided to amend the last published schedule to allow some time to focus on our flood relief efforts.

All formal meetings dates remain unchanged with the exception of Global Ladies Wing Conference which has moved from Thursday 29/9 to Saturday 1/10. A new event on Saturday evening has been now planned for the WMO Pakistan Disaster Appeal.

Kindly review the updated schedule and we look forward to seeing everyone very soon Inshallah.

We apologise and regret any inconvenience. All Office Bearers and our very helpful team of staff and volunteers are on hand to assist with any coordination with hotels etc as required.
