It is indeed an honor to be invited to the iconic 10 Downing Street, the official residence of the British Prime Minister in Westminister, London.

Haniya Munavar, a young and brilliant youth wing member of WMO Europe Chapter was amongst a handful of selected, hospitality management students who were accorded the privilege.

The honourable James Cleverly, Secretary of State for Education hosted the event to appreciate and applaud the efforts of the 30 visiting students who left their indelible mark on the hospitality industry, during and after the challenging Covid crisis.

The other dignitaries who graced the occasion were Miles Stacey, advisor to the Prime Minister’s office and Mehrnavaz Avari, General Manager of the prestigious Taj group of hotels (UK).

Haniya was the youngest member of the group that were given a tour of the famous residence. They were acknowledged for standing on the frontlines of the pandemic and for keeping the flag flying of the British hospitality industry.
