This year’s Annual General Meeting was a powerful showcase of the Pakistan Chapter’s commitment to sustainable development. Under the dynamic leadership of our Regional President, Mr. Ashraf Machiyara, the team presented a robust portfolio of initiatives designed to empower every segment of our community.
Here’s a quick look at the key programs shaping our future:
Education for All (Presented by Arsalan Nara): Our cornerstone initiative is expanding! We’re providing extensive support to students at all levels, with a goal to become the largest educational support system within the global Memon community.
Health Card Initiative (Presented by Ashraf Machiyara): Launched in 2024, this major program is already making a difference! 4,000 health cards have been distributed, providing crucial healthcare access. Our goal? To scale up for nationwide coverage and protect families from medical financial stress.
Rozgar Scheme – Soft Loans (Presented by Musaab Vindhani): Fueling our economy from within! This economic empowerment project provides soft loans to aspiring entrepreneurs and small businesses, fostering self-sufficiency and creating jobs.
Youth Development (Presented by Jawad Choksi): Investing in our future leaders! This strategic program focuses on skill development, networking, and leadership, ensuring our youth are integrated and empowered to lead the WMO forward.
Women Empowerment (Presented by Mehwish Mithani): A vital part of our strategy! We’re creating opportunities for women in education, business, and leadership, ensuring their strong voice and active participation in all community affairs.
These initiatives reflect our comprehensive, forward-looking strategy for inclusive growth. The Pakistan Chapter is proud to be a model of active and progressive engagement within the World Memon Organisation!
