This past Friday (04th September 2026), the WMO Africa Chapter gathered for a warm and memorable luncheon hosted at the home of our Regional President (WMO Africa Chapter), Ahmed Gani, in honor of our esteemed guests, Salman Iqbal (WMO President) and Kamran Ghani (Regional President – WMO Middle East Chapter).

Following Jummah prayers, members and their spouses came together to extend hospitality and brotherhood to the visiting guests, reflecting the strong bonds that unite the WMO family across borders.

We were honored to have in attendance: Yunus Suleman, Yusuf Kamdar, Sataar Dada, Mohamed Max Joosub, Gulaam Abdoola, Latib Essa, Aslam Kalla, and Feizul Ayob, accompanied by their spouses.

A heartfelt thank you to Ahmed Gani and family for their generous hospitality in opening their home and hosting such a beautiful gathering. Moments like these strengthen our community ties and reaffirm the spirit of unity that defines the WMO.
