Alhamdulillah, another meaningful initiative under the Women Empowerment mission of WMO Global Ladies Wing has been successfully completed.

Held under the guidance and support of Mr. Haseen Aghadi, Regional President – WMO North India Chapter, and Mrs. Razia Chasmawala, Deputy Chair – WMO Global Ladies Wing, the One-Day Kunafa Masterclass brought women together to learn, create, and develop a practical skill with the potential to become an income-generating opportunity.

In association with World Memon Organisation India, the hands-on workshop was conducted by HUZA Turkish Dessert by Rizwana Lokhandwala, in collaboration with Mrs. Zahida Toufiq Ahmed, and curated by Fabiha Patel, WMO-Life Member.

Participants had the opportunity to learn the art of authentic Turkish Kunafa through practical training, from preparation and baking to garnishing and serving. The session also included all required materials and a hard copy of the recipe, making it a valuable hands-on learning experience.

This initiative reflects the continued commitment of WMO Global Ladies Wing towards empowering women by creating opportunities to learn new skills, build confidence, and explore pathways towards financial independence.
