A Visit That Touched the Soul

Recently, Mr. Kamran Ghani, Regional President of the WMO Middle East Chapter, visited the Kashmir Orphan Relief Trust (KORT) in Pakistan, along with Mr. Imran Farook, WMO Patron and few others. What the delegation witnessed was nothing short of inspiring.

From the moment they arrived, the team was welcomed not as guests, but as family—greeted with flower petals, warm embraces, and banners reading “Welcome Home.”

The children at KORT are thriving in clean, modern, and loving surroundings. Watching them receive gifts, play freely, and smile without reservation was a powerful reminder of what true service looks like.

As the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said:

“I and the one who takes care of an orphan will be like this in Paradise,” and he joined his index and middle fingers together. (Sahih al-Bukhari)

May Allah bless every hand that serves, every tear that comforts, and every heart that loves an orphan.

Together, we can do more.
