A truly momentous achievement!

The WMO Office Bearers Council, Board of Trustees, Management Committee and all members are incredibly proud to congratulate Mr. Arif Habib, a Trustee of the WMO, and his consortium, on securing the winning bid for the privatization of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA).

This successful acquisition represents a milestone in such transactions in Pakistan and the beginning of an exciting new chapter for a National asset which was once a yardstick of the global airline industry.
