The World Memon Organization (WMO) successfully launched the second leg of its highly anticipated US & Canada Roadshow on Friday at the Maple Banquet Hall in Toronto. The event built upon the resounding success of three previous roadshows, culminating in the welcoming of two new Patrons to the WMO.
The program commenced with a formal Welcome Address from Dr. Shiraz Suleman of the WMO Board of Trustees, followed by a welcome note from the Chairman of the WMO Board of Trustees, Mr. Ashraf Sattar. Ms. Tehreem then provided an insightful introduction to the WMO Global Ladies Wing.
A special address was delivered by The Honorable Shafqat Ali, Member of the Canadian Parliament, who commended the WMO’s initiatives. In a distinguished segment of the program, Mr. Ali presented an award to Mr. Salman Iqbal, WMO President and CEO of ARY Digital Network, in recognition of his remarkable achievements and unwavering dedication to community development.
Mr. Salman Iqbal subsequently took the stage, delivering an eloquent keynote speech that captivated the audience and underscored the WMO’s strategic goals.
Mr. Anees Bakali, Regional President of the WMO US & Canada Chapter, delivered the vote of thanks.
The event also honored Mr. Mohammad Ashfaq of the Memon Association of Canada with a commemorative shield, acknowledging his steadfast commitment and readiness to serve the community.
With the Toronto event concluded, the WMO Roadshow looks ahead to its final two stops in New York and New Jersey.
