The Crystal Banquet in Dallas, Texas, was electric on October 3rd as the World Memon Organisation launched its highly anticipated US & Canada Roadshow. The event, brimming with excitement, set a powerful tone for the series ahead.

The evening commenced with a warm welcome from Mr. Ashraf Moton, President of the Memon Association of North Texas (MANT), and Mrs. Zahida Toufiq Ahmed. The attendees were then inspired by a keynote address from Mr. Salman Iqbal, President of the global WMO, followed by a thank you note from Mr. Anees Bakali, Regional President for WMO US & Canada.

The Presidents vision for greater integration with Regional Apex & Institutional bodies was revealed. Mr. Salman Iqbal issued a powerful call to action, strongly encouraging these bodies and its members to not only participate in local activities and projects but to become paid members and stand for elections of the central Managing Committee of the WMO, ensuring robust representation of the USA Chapter at all levels of the organisation.

The impact was immediate and profound. In a powerful display of commitment, 50 individuals stepped forward on the spot to join the WMO, with 4 pledging to become Patron Members. The collaboration reached a new height when Mr. Ashraf Moton announced a landmark pledge: 100 MANT Life Members will become WMO Life Members. This historic move marks a significant stride in unifying and strengthening our global community.

This is only the beginning. With this incredible momentum, the future is bright as the Roadshow travels to five more cities, ready to build on this spectacular start.
